Warren Buffett – $45K, Cadillac XTS
As the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, you would think that Warren Buffett would splurge on expensive luxury rides. However, the man nicknamed the Oracle of Omaha has driven a modest vehicle for years, similar to most billionaires.
In 2014, Buffett purchased a Cadillac XTS for $45K to replace his Cadillac DTS. He’s admired by many for his frugal quirks, and until 2013, he only had a Nokia flip phone. Eventually, the investor and philanthropist switched to an iPhone 11 to get with the times. In May 2021, Buffett attended Berkshire Hathaway’s annual meeting in Los Angeles, California.
