Eine Frau, die sich in der Nähe der Meereswellen im Sand eingegraben hatte, erlebte eine unerwartete Gefahr. Nur ihr Gesicht war zu sehen, doch sie schien sich der Risiken von Ebbe und Flut nicht bewusst zu sein. Obwohl das Eingraben im Sand Spaß machen kann, überwiegen die Gefahren.
Selbst wenn man sich weit genug vom Meer entfernt befindet, kann der Druck des Sandes die Atmung erschweren. Laut der United States Lifesaving Association kommt es jährlich zu etlichen Unfällen durch Sand. Glücklicherweise kam die Frau in diesem Fall mit nichts Schlimmerem als einem nassen Gesicht davon.
