Paris’s Canal Cleanup Reveals Astonishing Artifacts—You Won’t Believe What They Found!

The cleanup of Canal Saint-Martin revealed the expected mountains of trash, showing years of neglect. Yet among the usual rubbish, a surprising discovery grabbed everyone’s attention—dozens of city bikes. Launched in Paris in 2007, these bikes were meant to help the city go green, with 15,000 ready to ride around town.
Unfortunately, not all saw the value in this move towards a cleaner environment. Many of these bikes were tossed into the canal, left to rust. This sad sight showed that despite steps towards a better future, some were not ready to join the ride, leaving a challenge for those fighting for a greener Paris.
