Figura en el Libro Guinness como la actriz con la carrera profesional más larga interpretando el mismo personaje infantil. La Chilindrina actuó en El Chavo del 8 y en El Chapulín Colorado. También participó de sus propios programas, Aquí está La Chilindrina y La Chilindrina en apuros. Prestó su voz para Los Picapiedra y Los Supersónicos. María Antonieta ha hecho reír a generación tras generación de niños mexicanos, latinoamericanos y de todas partes del mundo junto a sus familias.
