Jorge Rivero es un actor mexicano de cine reconocido internacionalmente pues filmó en Estados Unidos y en Europa. Gracias a su atractivo físico y a haber filmado El pecado de Adán y Eva en 1969, donde interpretaba a Adán tal cual vino al mundo, se convirtió en un actor erótico muy cotizado.
En México filmó Estafa de amor, Jesús el niño Dios y Los hombres no lloran. Con La pulpería se convirtió en un ícono dentro del Cine de ficheras, las comedias eróticas típicas mexicanas con música ranchera. En Hollywood filmó Río lobo, Day of the Assassin y The last hard man junto a primeras figuras estadounidenses.
