MARÍA VICTORIA CERVANTES (95) – GUADALAJARA
La actriz y cantante mexicana María Victoria Cervantes tuvo sus comienzos en las carpas, un teatro ambulante de México. Fue estimulada a cantar y tras la aceptación del público adquirió confianza. Pero su oportunidad de hacerse conocida se la dio el compositor Luis Arcaraz. Su carrera se encaminó y empezó a cantar en cabarets.
En 1958 fue contratada para actuar en el Teatro-Salón Margo donde estuvo 10 años con entradas agotadas. Fue ganadora del Premio Diosa de Plata PECIME en 2 oportunidades y Premios Califa de Oro 2009 por su trayectoria artística. Hoy a sus 95 años se encuentra retirada del mundo del espectáculo.
