Lil Nas X, Met Gala 2023 – Pat McGrath
Lil Nas X made a sparkling statement at the Met Gala, entirely foregoing traditional clothing for a dazzling coat of silver body paint adorned with around 5,000 Swarovski crystals. This look took nearly 12 hours to apply and was the brainchild of renowned makeup artist Pat McGrath.
Lil Nas X’s only garment was a silver th*ng, allowing the metallic paint and crystal adornments to take center stage. His face was decorated with pearls and filigree Swarovski elements, creating the illusion of an ornate Venetian mask. This avant-garde approach by Lil Nas and Pat was not just fashion but an ambitious and breathtaking display of beauty and artistry.
