Sarah Montague is a radio queen. You’ve probably heard her calm and collected voice on the radio. Before she took over the lunchtime news with The World at One, she was a familiar face on the “Today” programme.
She’s one of those broadcasters who makes you feel like you’re having a chat with a friend while she’s dropping serious news. Turns out, being a radio star pays pretty well. After making waves about unequal pay, Sarah managed to secure a £400K settlement from the BBC. It’s a big win for equality and a pretty sweet deal for her, too.
