Paul Hogan – Crocodile Dundee
Australian actor and TV host Paul Hogan is best known for penning the script and starring in the action series “Crocodile Dundee.” He walked away with a Golden Globe award and an Oscar nomination for the part. He played the same character in the show’s sequels, but they weren’t as popular as the original.
Hogan’s appointment as a Member of the Order of Australia for his contributions to entertainment and tourism is only one of the honors he has received. He’s still very much alive, and in the past years, he received the Longford Lyell Award, the highest distinction bestowed by the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts.
