Joanne Woodward – The Three Faces of Eve
Joanne Woodward is best known for her Oscar-winning role in “The Three Faces of Eve.” She developed an early interest in acting while accompanying her mother to the movies as a small child. Her mom, who named her after her favorite actress, supported her career decision wholeheartedly despite the fact that her father didn’t.
Woodward has portrayed several different characters throughout the course of her lengthy and fruitful career, showcasing her range as a character actress. She retired in 2013 after voicing a character in “Lucky Them” and still resides in the Westport house she shared with her late husband, actor Paul Newman until he died in 2008.
