Lee Meriwether – Batman
Lee Meriwether began her career in the entertainment industry as a beauty queen before transitioning into acting. After competing in the Miss Carolina pageant, she took the Miss America title in 1955. Meriwether used the money she won to pursue her education since she was so passionate about acting, and it clearly paid off. She made her acting debut in “4D Man.”
Meriwether is well known for playing the feline femme fatale Catwoman in the 1966 classic “Batman.” Over 50 years after she originally graced our screen, she is still working in the film industry and making appearances in movies and television shows.
