You would think Dolly Parton would probably live in a super luxurious castle fit for a queen. Contrary to the star’s larger-than-life persona, she’s incredibly down-to-earth, and her home reflects her heartwarming personality to the tee. Believe it or not, she still lives in the 3,324-square-foot mansion that she bought with her husband Carl back in 1999 for $400,000.
The Brentwood home is just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, and the couple like to keep their humble abode away from the spotlight. Happiness for the ‘Jolene’ singer is to spend time in a couple of barns within the premises of the sprawling property. It also boasts of a Chapel, a tennis court and a swimming pool.
