Diam’s s’est absentée de la scène et a même mis un terme à sa carrière de rappeuse en 2012. Récemment, elle a présenté son documentaire intitulé « Salam » au Palais des festivals à Cannes. Elle n’est donc pas revenue en tant que chanteuse, mais plutôt en tant que réalisatrice et actrice.
Côté cœur, elle s’est mariée en 2012 et a eu une fille du nom de Maryam. Elle a ensuite divorcé. Elle a retrouvé l’amour en 2015 aux côtés de Faouzi Tarkhani. Ce dernier est également rappeur, auteur et compositeur. Il a sorti plusieurs albums, dont « Guerrier pour paix » ou encore « Brise de conscience ».
