David Beckham a croisé le chemin de Victoria Beckham en 1997 alors qu’il jouait un match contre l’équipe de Chelsea. David était à l’époque l’un des joueurs les plus prometteurs du Manchester United tandis que Victoria était à l’apogée de sa gloire en tant que membre du groupe Spice Girls.
David Beckham s’est fiancé à Victoria Beckham en 1998 avant de l’épouser en juillet de l’année suivante. Leur premier enfant voit le jour durant la même année sous le nom de Brooklyn. Trois autres enfants viennent ensuite agrandir leur famille sous les noms de Romeo, Cruz et Harper.
