Leïla Bekhti starred in a 2009 film by Jacques Audiard entitled “A Prophet”. This film was awarded the Louis-Delluc prize the same year. It also won nine awards at the César du cinéma in 2010, including in the categories of best film and best director.
“A Prophet” also played a special role in Leïla Bekhti’s love life, since it was during the filming of this movie that she met Tahar Rahim. Leïla Bekhti and Tahar Rahim said yes at the altar in 2010 and later became parents of three children.
