Céline Dion a vécu sa plus belle histoire d’amour avec René Angélil. La flamme de leur amour est restée intacte depuis leur mariage en 1994 jusqu’à la perte de René en 2016. La chanson « Ashes » de Céline décrit d’ailleurs la difficulté qu’elle a éprouvé à refaire sa vie après la disparition de René.
Céline a confié au cours d’une interview accordée au magazine Today en mars 2021 qu’elle n’était pas encore prête à se lancer dans une nouvelle histoire d’amour. Cette situation risque de se maintenir pour encore des années, sachant qu’elle a tenu cet interview 5 ans après la perte de son époux.
