Virginie Lemoine a ses origines à Suresnes, dans les Hauts-de-Seine en Île-de-France, où elle est venue au monde le 26 février 1961. Elle a vécu son premier mariage avec Alexandre Bonstein, ce qui lui a donné la nationalité suisse, mais leur histoire d’amour a finalement été de courte durée.
Virginie a ensuite été en couple avec Laurent Gerra à partir de 1991, mais leur relation a pris fin en 1997. Elle a ensuite refait sa vie avec le comédien Darius Kehtari, lequel a tenu des petits rôles dans les films « Les gamins », « Detained in the Desert », « Une journée » et « Au grand jour ».
