Laila lived in a foster home in Louisiana before becoming Sandra Bullock’s daughter through an adoption process that lasted nearly three years. She now lives in Beverly Hills with Sandra and Louis Bardo, who was also adopted from the same foster home she was initially placed in in Louisiana.
Mélanie Doutey and Arielle Semenoff

Chaz publicly came out as a transgender man through the American magazine “The Advocate” in 2005. He underwent gender reassignment surgery between 2008 and 2010. This experience was the subject of a documentary titled “Becoming Chaz” in 2011.
