Joana Balavoine and Daniel Balavoine
Joana Balavoine is the daughter of Daniel Balavoine, born on June 1, 1986, to a woman whose identity has been kept secret until now. Joana was born a few months after Daniel Balavoine’s death and thus never knew her father, which didn’t stop her from being inspired by music, just like him.
Joana Balavoine revealed her talents in 2007 by composing a song with strong influences from 80s pop for the theme song of the show “Un jour, une heure” on France 2. She also performed the title “Sauver l’amour” as a duet with Marc Lavoine on stage in 2011.
