Jeanne Hurt est la fille que Sandrine Bonnaire a eue avec William Hurt. Sandrine Bonnaire est connue dans le cinéma français pour des films tels que : « À nos amours » ou « Sans toit ni loi ». William Hurt a quant à lui remporté un oscar du meilleur acteur en 1986 pour « Le baiser de la femme araignée ».
Jeanne Hurt n’a pas aspiré à une vie d’actrice comme ses parents, mais s’est quand même investie dans le cinéma en tant que productrice. Elle s’est notamment associée avec Sandrine Bonnaire pour la création de leur propre maison de production en 2019, laquelle a été baptisée « À nos amours ».
