Raphaël Hamburger a vu le jour à Boulogne-Billancourt, dans les Hauts-de-Seine en Île-de-France le 2 avril 1981. Il est le fils que France Gall a eu à travers son histoire d’amour avec Michel Berger. France Gall et Michel Berger sont tous deux des figures populaires de l’industrie musicale en France.
Raphaël a suivi les pas de ses parents en optant pour la musique comme carrière. Son intention n’est pas cependant d’être chanteur. Il préfère mener une activité de producteur et s’est acheté son propre studio d’enregistrement en plus d’être propriétaire d’une radio et d’un label de disques.
