Nur wenige Mütter können sagen, dass sie jemals eine Unterstützerin wie die Kellnerin Bodi Kinney hatten. Im Gespräch über Smith sagte sie: „Sobald ich sie im Restaurant stillen sah, war ich beeindruckt. Ich dachte sofort: Genau richtig!“
„Sie hat wirklich meinen Abend erhellt“, fuhr Kinney fort. „Ohne großes Aufsehen zu erregen oder sie in Verlegenheit zu bringen, wollte ich ihr wirklich für das Stillen danken und ihr zeigen, dass ich sie unterstütze.“ Bevor Kinney jedoch etwas tun konnte, waren Smith und ihr Sohn bereits aus dem Restaurant gegangen. „Da entschied ich, eine der Pizzen, die sie bestellt hatte, zu bezahlen!“
