Aposentado do Inter e morando na Itália há muitos anos, Júlio César é casado com Susana Werner desde 2002. Quase 20 anos se passaram desde que Susana Werner decidiu abrir mão da sua bem sucedida carreira na televisão para acompanhar o marido, o ex-goleiro Júlio César, no sonho de ser jogador de futebol.
