Pop icon Janet Jackson and businessman Wissam Al Mana crossed paths at the opening of a hotel in Dubai in 2010. Their romance flourished privately, and they held a secretive wedding in 2012. The couple had one son in 2017.
However, significant events like the birth of their child and the stipulations of their prenuptial agreement became pivotal when they announced their separation just months after their son’s birth and shortly after their fifth anniversary. The terms of a reported prenuptial agreement detailed by the New York Post stipulated Janet would receive $100 million if the marriage lasted five years, with an additional $100 million if they had a child.
