John Cleese and Alyce Faye Eichelberger – $20 Million
British actor and comedian John Cleese is remembered for his work with “Monty Python” and “Fawlty Towers.” He found love in American psychotherapist Alyce Faye Eichelberger in 1990. Their diverse backgrounds and careers led to a wedding in 1992. They did not have children together, but their marriage spanned over 15 years, filled with public appearances and private moments.
However, in 2008, the couple decided to part ways. The divorce settlement reached in 2009 was substantial, with Alyce receiving about $19.7 million, plus an additional $1 million annually for seven years. John humorously referred to his financial obligations as “the Alimony Tour,” even launching a comedy tour to cover the costs.
