Harrison Ford and Melissa Mathison – $85 Million
Harrison Ford catapulted to global stardom for his iconic roles in “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones.” It was also in the industry that he met Melissa Mathison, a screenwriter famed for “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,” during the filming of “Apocalypse Now” in 1976. They share a love for creative passions, leading to their marriage in 1983 and welcoming two children.
Throughout their marriage, they supported each other’s careers in the competitive entertainment industry. However, in 2001, they decided to part ways, citing differences that they could not bridge. Their divorce was finalized in 2004, with Melissa receiving an estimated $85 million and a percentage of Harrison’s future earnings from films made during their marriage.
