Toen hij nog op de middelbare schoolbanken zat, werd al duidelijk dat Adrianus Marinus Kyvon graag als grappenmaker door het leven ging. Met zijn liedjes, scherpzinnige opmerkingen en zijn typerende glimlach veroverde hij ondertussen heel Nederland en België. De man is al actief sinds midden de jaren zestig en is zelfs nu op zijn vijfenzeventigste nog helemaal niet van plan om te stoppen. Hij is zanger, cabaretier, presentator, jurylid en zelfs op zijn moeilijkste momenten een erg aimabele man. Hij is goed voor een vermogen van ongeveer 13 miljoen euro, inclusief een grachtenpand in Amsterdam van meer dan twee miljoen euro.
