In 2013 kreeg prins Willem-Alexander de titel van Koning toegekend en mocht zijn vrouw Maxima Zorreguieta zich voortaan koningin noemen. Toen al had de familie Oranje-Nassau al een aardig fortuin weten te verzamelen en voortaan zou daar nog heel wat bijkomen. Terwijl haar man jaarlijks op iets meer dan 7 miljoen euro van zijn onderdanen kan rekenen, moet Maxima het stellen met slechts 1 miljoen euro per jaar. Maar dat neemt niet weg dat ze ondertussen al een spaarpotje met haar man wist op te bouwen van meer dan 2 miljard euro. Helaas is zelfs dat nog niet genoeg om tot de top 10 van rijkste families in Nederland te behoren.
