RONALD KOEMAN (59) – EUR 35 MILLION
Many professional footballers are forgotten as soon as they step off the lawn and pursue a new career. Ronald Koeman was a top player who, with four national titles, two Europcup I and a European Championship in his pocket, had achieved just about the highest he could possibly have in his career. Yet he succeeded wonderfully in matching this as a trainer as well. At top clubs such as Barcelona, PSV and the Dutch national team, he further piled up the prizes and managed to increase his piggy bank a bit. He has only just signed with Orange and will therefore undoubtedly expand his capital of 35 million euros in the coming years.
