However, Matthijs de Ligt is such a great talent that Juventus had no less than 75 million euros auctioned to be able to add the man from Ajax to their team. With this transfer fee he has broken records, because he was immediately included in the list of highest-earning Dutch footballers. Per year he can tap another 8 million euros into the account and even at the age of twenty-three, he is already good for 26 million euros.
