Wie dacht dat je alleen maar in Amerika beroemd kan worden zonder enig talent, die heeft het bij het verkeerde eind. In eigen land kreeg Samantha de Jong een brede bekendheid door haar optreden in de realitysoap Oh Oh Cherso en de vele vervolgen en spinoffs die daarna de beeldbuis mochten sieren. Alhoewel ze heel wat geld wist te verdienen met haar extravagante persoonlijkheid, bleek ze een gat in haar hand te hebben. Het geld verdween door ramen en deuren voor de gekste aankopen, wat juridische problemen en natuurlijk haar vele vriendjes die ze graag in watten legde. Zodat ze nu ongeveer nog slechts een half miljoentje aan vermogen over heeft.
