Femke Beumer wist in haar studentenjaren nog niet helemaal wat de toekomst voor haar in petto zou hebben. Ze wou economie studeren, maar had een bijverdienste als model. Ze wou carrière maken in Amerika en startte een literatuurstudie, maar ging als hobby ook acteerlessen volgen. Aanvankelijk kreeg ze wat kleinere rollen aangeboden, maar bleef de grote doorbraak wat uit. Tot ze plots de rol van Xenia Onatopp kreeg aangeboden in GoldenEye. Sindsdien is ze een echte ster geworden en kon ze met X-Men, The Blacklist en Taken nogmaals bevestigen. Ze is goed voor meer dan 20 miljoen euro en er liggen nog wat mooie toekomstige projecten op de plank.
