Jay Buhner, 1996
Jay Buhner, also known as Bone, is one of the most recognized players to this day in baseball for his trademark shaved head and thick goatee. The right-fielder debuted in the major league debut in 1987 and was inducted into the Seattle Mariners Hall of Fame in 2004.
Since retiring from the sport, he became a TV spokesperson for the truck dealership Northwest Motorsports. Buhner’s comedic Sports Illustrated cover was adorned by many as it featured his son Chase as a baby. The duo recreated the adorable shoot in March 2016.
