Larry Bird, 1977
Former American basketball player Larry Bird is also a coach and executive in the NBA. The Boston Celtics drafted him as a power forward and he improved their stats by leading them to a 32-win compared to their previous year.
Bird holds two NBA Finals MVP awards and is a 12-time NBA All-Star. He was also a part of the 1992 gold-winning Olympic men’s basketball team nicknamed “The Dream Team.” He’s even won NBA Coach of the Year in the 1997-1998 season and NBA Executive of the Year in the 2011-2012 season too!
