Ye Li and Yao Ming
Love and basketball go hand in hand for Ye Li and Yao Ming. This towering couple met in 1999 while playing for China’s national basketball teams and hit it off immediately. They tied the knot in 2007 and have a daughter named Yao Qinlei, born in 2010.
Ye, a former professional basketball player, is celebrated for her time on the Chinese women’s national team. Standing at 7 feet 6, Yao is an NBA legend who played for the Houston Rockets and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. Both Ye and Yao are passionate about wildlife conservation and have been involved in numerous campaigns to protect endangered species.
