Iconic Titanic’s Anchor Chain as Photographed Around 1910

The photographer of this specific image is unknown. These workmen were positioned near the sizable chain that was a part of the notorious man-made structure known as the Titanic. The ship’s construction began in a Belfast shipyard in 1909. This fantastic yacht was built over more than two years by over 3,000 workers.

The Titanic appears to have been doomed from the beginning. The construction of this ship had resulted in the deaths of eight people and the injuries of several more. After colliding with an iceberg in the Atlantic, the enormous vessel sank in just over two hours.
