Die kleinen Dinge genießen
Früher war es ihr zum Beispiel auch unmöglich, das Shirt ihrer Lieblingsband zu tragen. Als Lexi und Danny aber 2018 auf die Vans Warped Tour gingen, konnte sie sich endlich ein Festival T-Shirt kaufen und es mit Stolz tragen. Vor ihrer Gewichtsabnahme wäre so etwas niemals denkbar gewesen. Und so ging für Lexi ein weiterer kleiner Traum in Erfüllung, der zeigt, wie begrenzt ihr Leben früher war.
Heute hat sich Lexis Leben um 180 Grad gewendet. Aber sie hat trotzdem noch nicht das Ende ihrer Reise erreicht und muss sich heute ständig alten Ängsten stellen, um sich selbst zu beweisen, was sie sonst noch erreichen kann. Zum Beispiel hat sie schon früh eine Abneigung gegen Teiche entwickelt, da sie kein großer Fan von Schlangen und Insekten ist, die im Wasser vorkommen können.
