Sobald man sich an einen entspannten Lebensstil gewöhnt hat, ist es schwer, ihn wieder loszuwerden. Deshalb haben sich Danny und Lexi Regeln auferlegt, an die sich beide halten müssen. Sie vertrauten diese Regeln auch ihren Freunden an und platzieren verschiedene Wetten, um sich gegenseitig auf unterhaltsame Weise zu motivieren. Allerdings konnten sie sich damals nicht vorstellen, dass ihre Bemühungen zum Vorbild für so viele Menschen auf der Welt werden würden.
Die wichtigsten Regeln waren unter anderem auf Alkohol komplett zu verzichten, nur frisches Essen zu essen selbst zu kochen, ungesunde Snacks zu vermeiden und vor allem sich mindestens 5 Mal pro Woche zu bewegen.
