Obwohl sie mit 220 Pfund eine positive und glückliche Person war, war ihr Leben jetzt viel einfacher. Lexi selbst sagte, nach all den Jahren fühle sie sich endlich befreit, weil sie nicht mehr durch ihren eigenen Körper eingeschränkt sei. Das Gefängnis ihres Körpers war verflogen. In einem Interview sagte Lexi, dass sie oft zurückblicke und über die enormen Fortschritte nachdenke, die sie in den letzten Jahren gemacht habe.
Auf ihren sozialen Medien ermutigt sie ihre Fans immer, den ersten Schritt zu tun. Dies ist bekanntermaßen das Schwierigste und Lexi hat viel gekämpft, als sie ihr neues Leben begonnen hat. Lexi verriet auch, dass es später nicht wirklich einfacher wurde, aber sie wurde mit jedem Schritt stärker und selbstbewusster, was das Überwinden von Herausforderungen immer einfacher machte. Ihr wichtigster Tipp: Immer am Ball bleiben!
