Eines Tages kniete sich Danny endlich vor Lexi und stellte ihr die Frage aller Fragen. Mit Dannys Heiratsantrag ging ein lang gehegter Traum von Lexi in Erfüllung und sie schien endlich den Mann ihres Lebens gefunden zu haben. Es dauerte jedoch nicht lange, bis Lexi wieder auf ihre alten Leiden stieß, als sie auf der Suche nach einem Hochzeitskleid war. Während alle um Lexi herum ihr Bestes gaben, um ihr klar zu machen, was für eine schöne Braut sie ist, konnte Lexi nicht anders, als das Gefühl zu haben, dass sich etwas an ihr ändern muss. Damals wog sie 220 kg.
