Anfangs fand Lexi es sehr schwierig, an einem so öffentlichen Ort zu trainieren. Bei so vielen Fremden um sie herum, die alle besser gebaut waren als sie, fühlte sie sich alles andere als gut. Glücklicherweise gelang es den beiden, ein Studio zu finden, das nicht zu voll war und es ihnen ermöglichte, ihre Geräte ohne Druck und Angst zu verwenden.
Zur Überraschung aller fand Lexi schnell ein Lieblingsgerät, das sowohl gelenkschonend ist als auch effektiv am an den Pfunden knabbert. Und so verbrachte sie gerne und unbeschwert mehrere Stunden an dem Gerät namens „Cross Ramp“. Je länger sie an dem Gerät übte, desto mehr gefiel es ihr. Alles wäre deshalb so einfach gewesen, wenn da nicht noch die Sache mit der Diät gewesen wäre.
