Waren Buffet ist jedem, der sich schonmal in seinem Leben mit Finanzen auseinandergesetzt hat, ein Begriff. Mit einem Vermögen von 85,6 Milliarden US Dollar (Stand: 2021) ist er der viertreichste Mensch auf der ganzen Welt. Doch wie viele andere Milliardäre auch fuhr er lange Zeit ein relativ gewöhnliches Auto und gibt auch sonst sein Geld nicht absolut verschwenderisch für Fuhrwagen aus. 2014 ergatterte Buffet schließlich einen Cadillac XTS für 45.000 US Dollar. Um für diesen zu sparen, verkaufte er seinen früheren Cadillac DTS. Obwohl er das eigentlich gar nicht nötig hat, ist er doch bekannt für seine Sparsamkeit. Bis 2013 benutzte er das klassische Nokia-Telefon, erst vor Kurzem wechselte er zu einem aktuelleren iPhone 11.
