Sahra Wagenknecht und Oskar Lafontaine – 13 Jahre
2024 schlug Sahra Wagenknecht ein neues Kapitel auf. Zusammen mit Amira Mohamed Ali gründete die ehemalige Linke-Politikerin das Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht. Die einstige SPD-Größe bzw. der Ehemann der Spitzenpolitikerin, Oskar Lafontaine, schloss sich Anfang desselben Jahres der Partei ebenfalls an. Gemeinsam wagt man also den politischen Neuanfang.
Privat sind die beiden Politiker schon lange ein eingespieltes Team. Seit 2012 teilen sie sich eine gemeinsame Wohnung, nachdem 2011 noch spekuliert wurde, ob die beiden ein Paar seien. 2014 läuteten für Wagenknecht und Lafontaine die Hochzeitsglocken. Für die Politikerin war es nicht die erste Ehe. Zuvor war sie mit dem Publizisten Ralph Thomas Niemeyer verheiratet gewesen. Für Lafontaine ist es Anlauf Nummer vier.
