Im Jahr 2000 gaben die beiden sich das Ja-Wort. Sie haben einen gemeinsamen Sohn namens Alexander, der im Jahr 2002 zur Welt kam. Die Familie wohnt im „Deutschen Eck“ in der Nähe von Koblenz.
