Er ist die Plauder Maschine, sie ist eher der ruhige Teil der Beziehung. Die Fotografin Tina Acke begleitet Udo Lindenberg auf all seinen Reisen und hält diese in Bildern fest. Die beiden sind seit 24 Jahren zusammen. Über ihre Liebe sprechen sie selten.
Trotz des Altersunterschieds von 30 Jahren verstehen sich die beiden prächtig. Udo sagte vor einigen Jahren in einem Interview: „Wir sind ein tolles Team, Komplizen, sie macht ihr Ding, ich meins, aber wir machen natürlich auch viel zusammen.“ Das Paar hat keine gemeinsamen Kinder, sie sind jedoch Eltern von zwei Katzen. Zudem hat Udo Patenkinder in Afrika, zu denen er, wie er selber sagt, ein „kumpelhaftes Verhältnis“ hat.
