Menowin erlangte durch seinen Auftritt in der Casting-Sendung „Deutschland sucht den Superstar“ eine große Bekanntheit und konnte sich dadurch eine steile Karriere aufbauen. Der charismatische Sänger begeisterte von Beginn an das Publikum. Er wurde zwar nur zweitplatzierter in der Staffel, galt für seine Fans aber als der Sieger der Herzen.
