Sie ist die frauenpolitische Sprecherin der Partei Bündnis 90/Die Grünen und sitzt seit dem Jahr 2021 im Deutschen Bundestag. Ein Jahr später wurde Ricarda Lang zusammen mit Omid Nouripour als Bundesvorsitzende aufgestellt. Ihre Bewerbungsrede hielt sie aufgrund einer Corona-Infektion aus ihrem WG-Zimmer in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Mittlerweile ist sie wegen ihrer Arbeit komplett nach Berlin gezogen. Über Twitter bat sie ihre Follower um Hilfe bei der Suche nach einer passenden Unterkunft. Diese sollte unter 400 Euro kosten und ansonsten war die Politikerin sehr flexibel. Eine Bleibe hat sie mittlerweile gefunden, aber ob es sich wieder um ein WG-Zimmer oder eine eigene Wohnung handelt, ist nicht bekannt.
