Bei Guido Maria Kretschmer dreht sich alles um Mode. Wenn er nicht gerade selber designt, steht er als Juror für verschieden Modesendungen, wie zum Beispiel “Shopping Queen” vor der Kamera. Mit seinem Ehemann Frank Mutters lebte er 22 Jahre lang in einer mallorquinischen Villa, nordöstlich von Palma de Mallorca. Die von ihm neu gestaltete Villa mit Dachterrasse und Pool auf einem 2.360 qm großem Grundstück ließ er für 1,69 Millionen Euro verkaufen und zog zunächst nach Berlin in eine Jugendstil-Villa. Da der Stardesigner doch für viele Projekte vermehrt nach Hamburg musste, verkauften sie Villa für ca. 3,5 Millionen Euro und zogen 2021 mit ihren fünf Windhunden in das Hamburger Nobelviertel Blankenese.
