Eric Sykes alias Frank Bryce
Frank Bryce war der Gärtner auf dem Anwesen der Familie Riddle und stand vorübergehend unter Mordverdacht. Seine Nebenrolle erhält eine wichtige Schlüsselfunktion, als der betagte Gärtner eines Nachts zufällig ein Gespräch zwischen dem körperlosen Lord Voldemort und seinem Gehilfen Wurmschwanz belauscht. Da er dabei jedoch ertappt wird, muss der unschuldige Gärtner sehr bald den grausamen Filmtod sterben.
Besetzt wurde die Rolle mit dem Komiker und Schauspieler Eric Sykes, der sogar den britischen Ritterorden „Commander of the British Empire“ trägt. Sykes war 50 Jahre lang als Schauspieler aktiv und verstarb 2012 im Alter von 89 Jahren nach einem langen, erfüllten Leben.
