Der Fluch von Hogwarts – diese Harry Potter Stars leben heute nicht mehr
Verne Troyer alias Griphook
Verne Troyer war wegen seiner Körpergröße von nur 0,81 m ein Unikat in der britischen Schauspielwelt. Bekannt wurde er durch seine Rollen in den Austin-Powers-Filmen, „Der Grinch“ und „Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas“. 2001 war er in „Harry Potter und der Stein der Weisen“ zu sehen. Dort spielte er den miesgelaunten Griphook, den Chef-Kobold der Bank der Zauberer.
In den späteren Harry-Potter-Verfilmungen wurde die Rolle dann von Warwick Davis übernommen. Leider verstarb Troyer, der lange alkoholkrank war, 2018 an den Folgen einer Alkoholvergiftung. Mit seinen einzigartigen Rollen hat er jedoch ein ganz besonderes Andenken hinterlassen.
